Alberto Rafael Crespo Sarria, was born in Lima, Peru on November 11th 1944, to Rosa Esther Sarria and Alfonso Emiliano Crespo Cornejo.
A beautiful and loved child, Alberto started to work at a young age to help support his family, including his 11 younger siblings. He will forever be remembered by his brothers and sisters as a father figure.
This caring, selfless, and paternal nature would define the rest of his life. Always working hard and aspiring to great heights — he was never driven by self ambition, but instead by an innate desire to be able to help and support family and friends around him.
This sense of duty, as the first born, was inspired by his beloved mother Esther. A saintly woman, celebrated as the Queen of our family. Alberto always asked, even as a child: what can we do now? He accepted the responsibility to help everyone. Like most heroes, he would share his possessions, his food, his home, his time and efforts without limits.
Alberto had many careers and entrepreneurial endeavors. As a child he began by selling eggs, pastries, and milk at the park. He then worked in newspapers, in merchant ships sailing across the Americas, as a painter, a contractor, a recording studio owner, a music producer, and an importer of Peruvian products. No matter what he was up to, it was always a passionate labor of love. An entrepreneurial spirit, and a prideful dreamer —always panting seeds for the next adventure: El Sembrador.
Alberto was in love with being in love. He was married 4 times and had many caring relationships. He was always proud of the selfless care and honor with which he loved. He suffered a few devastating losses, but never gave up hope.
.Alberto was raised to know God, but truly found a relationship with him and was born again at 50 years old. He was devoted to his faith, was a student of the word, understood his calling to share the good word. He developed media content through sermons and music to share with the world. Alberto is survived by his four children: Alexis, Eduardo, Marcos & Susana, his 6 granddaughters, his living siblings, and by a large number of friends and family who considered him a father figure.
He worried about our faith and salvation, so that we may reunite in heaven.
A most kind soul, he loved intently, was passionate about giving, had unwavering faith, driven by a sense of duty, and believed in justice and honor above all things.
