Armand Robert Gould of Margate Florida, born March 2,1945 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada Passed in peace Thursday, Mar.7, 2019 at the age of 74 after a long battle with cancer.
Preceded in death by his father Laurie and mother Odila.
He was a Loving husband of 54 years to Jeannine, Cherished brother to Shirley and proud father of two children, Glenn (Amy) Gould of East Aurora, NY and Marsha (Michael) Reda of Williamsville, NY. He was given the name “Papa” by his first grandchild, Christopher (Rozycki) Gould (24) and the name remained through the births of Sophie Gould (12), Michael Reda (12), Lydia Gould (7) and Ellie Gould (5). Additionally he leaves behind many close cousins who reside in Canada and many friends.
A big man, Living life to the fullest, Armand enjoyed the freedom of piloting small airplanes, riding his touring motorcycle and driving with the top down in his convertible. After 30 years in the insurance industry and living in East Aurora, New York he retired to Margate Florida with his wife and mother in 2000 providing the rest of his growing family with the ultimate holiday destination. Over the nineteen years in Margate he enjoyed perfecting his organ playing skills, working on his tan at the beach, antiquing and going to auctions. Always on the hunt for that hidden gem and selling it on eBay.
A very special thank you is extended to the Vitas staff for their loving care and support in his final days. A celebration of life service date is to be determined, as it will be held in East Aurora, NY.
