Beverley Arleen Charles

Beverley Arleen Charles was born on December 9th, 1961. She was the fifth of nine children
born to Kelshall and Kathleen Charles in Indian Walk Princes, Trinidad.

She was educated at Fifth Company Baptist School and later attended St. Joseph's Convent San Fernando. After graduating from Secondary School she went on to pursue her tertiary education at The University
of the West Indies at St. Augustine where she obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Accounting.

Upon completion she began her career in teaching at Cowen Hamilton Secondary School where
she taught for eight years. She then changed careers and went on to work at The Board of Inland
Revenue (Tax Services). She remained there until she was blessed to win the Diversity Lottery
Program which gave her the opportunity to migrate to the United States of America.

This transition from Trinidad and Tobago to the United States marked another phase of her life.
Shortly afterwards the opportunity arose for her to work at Anchin Accounting Firm. While
working there she went on to pursue her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification. She
remained there until 2015 and relocated to Florida in January 2016.

Beverley rededicated her life to Christ at New Dimension Seventh Day Adventist Church and
continued to maintain her relationship with her Lord and Savior.

At the time of her death she was a member of Ft. Lauderdale Seventh Day Baptist Church where
she served in the capacity of Sabbath School teacher and was an avid member of the Women’s
Ministry.

Beverley was preceded in death by her parents Kelshall and Kathleen Charles. She is survived by
her only child, Keon. Her siblings Jennifer, Steve, Maxine, Ronnie, Andre, Mercer, Charlene and
Gaynelle. She also leaves behind many nephews, nieces, in-laws as well as relatives, friends and
church family.

As we remember Beverley’s life let us cherish the many wonderful memories we enjoyed
together and find comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Rest in
peace Beverley. Your earthly body may no longer be here but you will always be in our hearts.
