Obituary for Beverly Lupo

Beverly Ann Lupo, 75 years young, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, June 22, 2017.

Beverly enjoyed spending time with her friends, whom she considered part of her extended family (the COF aka Circle of Friends). She was an avid tennis player who played regularly well into her 70's. Bev enjoyed watching football. The Cleveland Browns was a source of love and hate...she would love to watch them play, yet hated every single time they lost.

Every Sunday, she would umpire the softball games at Mills Pond Park, and at Piccolo Park during the week. She was a beloved part of the game and every player who knew her, loved her. Beverly was a knowledgable and poplular umpire. Softball players were always happy everytime they stepped onto the field and saw her behind homeplate.

Beverly Lupo was an excellent, devoted mate to her partner of 20 years, Eleanor Shaw, who preceded her in death. She never forgot the love that they shared and would always remember the wonderful life that they lived together.

Beverly is survived by her mother: Mertie Kibler; sister Dolly (Jim) Ianello; brother: Tony Williams and many nieces, nephews and a "bevvy" of friends.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will take place on June 27, 2017 from 6:30PM-8:30PM at Serenity Memorial Chapels, located at 5229 Coconut Creek Parkway, Margate, Florida 33063 (754)205-4640.
