It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Bruce Thibeault, 73, on December 1, 2024. Bruce was born on July 27, 1951, to the late Normand and Theresa Thibeault, and spent his life with a strong work ethic and a kind heart. He will be remembered for his dedication to family, friends, and community.
Bruce retired in 2014 after a long and fulfilling career with the local water company, where he worked for many years. He was known for his commitment to his job and his reliability, always going above and beyond to ensure the well-being of his colleagues and the community he served.
In his retirement, Bruce enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, often keeping up on current events, watching Jeopardy, working on house improvement projects with his son Steven, and fishing. His caring personality and infectious laughter will be deeply missed by all who know him.
Bruce is survived by his wife Rosario “Rosie” Thibeault and son Steven Thibeault including his siblings and their spouses; Norman and Kathryn Thibeault, Richard and Zoe Thibeault, Janice and Michael Ferreira, Rosemary and Kevin Haley, and as well as many nieces and nephews all of whom he cherished deeply. He was a devoted father and husband always putting family first.
A private funeral service will be held in honor of Bruce’s life. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Catholic Hospice at www.CatholicHealthServices.org. His legacy of love, kindness, and hard work will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
Rest in peace, Bruce. You will forever be loved and missed.
