Carol Fakes

Carol Fakes, 100, resident of Aventura, Florida passed away on March 4, 2023.

She was born in McCrory, Arkansas, on November 4, 1922 to Turner and Alma (nee Kenner) Fakes. Carol received a Bachelor's Degree from Arkansas State University.

Carol was a proud member of the Daughter's of the American Revolution. Through her maternal side, the Kenner family tree dates back to the American Revolution.  She belonged to several social clubs, loved attending the Florida Marlins baseball games and in her younger days, was an avid swimmer.

She was a strong supporter of the Humane Society as well as Wounded Warriors, each of to whom she was a generous donor. Carol never married and lived in Miami-Dade County for over 78 years. However, she always kept in touch with the maternal aunts she loved in Bells, Tennessee.
