Obituary for Carolyn M. Kotziers

Carolyn Mae Zofchak Kotziers passed away peacefully at home on June 24, 2015 at age 75 from complications of ALS.

Born in Braddock, PA, and was raised in North Versailles, PA. She was a graduate of Wilmerding High School. She worked for Westinghouse Atomic Power Department and Pittsburgh Plate Glass. She studied at Slippery Rock State College and married Air Force Lt. William J. Kotziers in 1961.

She was a resident of Coral Springs, Florida since 1968 and worked for Coral Ridge Properties through 1988. She loved to travel the world with her husband, collect seashells, spend time at the beach, play golf, tennis, watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and spent many hours working on beautiful needlepoint. The family thanks her wonderful physicians, caregivers and hospice for the help they provided.

She is survived by her husband, Bill of 54 years, son, Bill and wife Mitzi, granddaughters Melissa, Michaela, grandson Brian (Erica), great grandson Nolan, daughter, Linda Kotziers, mother, Mary Zofchak, sister Jane Zofchak Kishbaugh (CP) and Martha Zofchak Schroeder (Jim) and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her father, Michael Zofchak.

A celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on July 10 at 10:00 AM at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Coral Springs, followed by burial at South Florida National Cemetary.

Religious Service Information: St Andrews Catholic Church 9950 NW 29th St., Coral Springs, FL 33065: Mass will be held on July 10 at 10 am
