Charles “Chuck” Walker, 57, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL passed away on March 18, 2015 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL

Charles was born to Amos and Henrietta Walker on January 5, 1958. He went to school at Dillard High School in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He married Grace Walker on January 5, 1979 in New York. He followed his passion and worked as a Chef. Charles was a Veteran, he served in the United States Army.

Charles was a chef at heart . He prepared the most delicious dishes that were enjoyed by patrons, family and friends. He is dearly missed by his loved ones, who celebrate the fact that he is at peace with his creator.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents Amos and Henrietta Walker.

Charles is survived by his ex wife Grace Puljos, son Dr. Emilio Walker (28), and daughters Rosetta Walker (34), Dr. Natalie Walker-Marshall(33) (Rev. Jermaine Marshall), and Charmel Walker (16). Brothers and Sisters—Amos Walker Jr (Twyler), Joan Dewett, Rosetta Walker ( Danny Wilson), one unborn grandchild, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be given to Serenity Funeral Home. The family of Charles wishes to extend our sincere thanks to each and everyone of you for taking time to help us celebrate his life.


A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM and again on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM. Military Honors will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM.

Interment will take place at a later date at South Florida National Cemetery.
