Imre was born in sunny June in Bekescsaba-Hungary, to parents Julianna Szalkai (mom) and Imre Szollosi (father). He has left behind his sister IIdiko Szollosi, and two brothers Zoltan Szollosi and Peter Szollosi. He also has left his beloved wife and unborn son, who will forever be impacted by his absence. There is nothing comparable to the love and light he brings to the lives of those he encountered.
He was a man of peace, serenity and love. Imre was someone that would give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it. The distance he would go for his family and friends has no boundaries. Imre was a wonderful husband, and he loved his wife with his whole being. He received pure joy from seeing her smile. His embrace will never be forgotten, and his essence will forever linger in her heart.
He was a social, active person who was deeply involved in pinball competitions, and the motorcycle lifestyle. He enjoyed going to the beach, enjoying sunshine on his face, and playing video games on his off time.
His family and friends will always remember him as a free spirited person who lived life to its fullest. One thing that he would always say is “I have a shield around me baby. Negative things and negative people cannot affect me”. This is the power of positivity and light in his heart. He was an angel that continued to brighten the light in the lives of everyone he knew with his incredible smile, compassionate personality, loyalty to his friends/family, and his sense of tranquility. Our hearts are heavy and our souls are hurting. This loss is very difficult for his loved ones. With profound sadness, emptiness, and shock we will search for comfort in God’s words in Isaiah 41:10 “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.”
