Ingrid D. Stabile

Ingrid Falckenberg Stabile, aged 88, of Tamarac, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and warmth.

Born on April 4, 1936, in Kassel, Germany, Ingrid was the beloved daughter of the late Horst and Elfriede Falckenberg. In her youth, she found her soulmate in Nicholas Stabile, and together they ventured to the United States in 1957, embarking on a journey filled with love and adventure. Their union was blessed with four daughters: Maryann (Harry) Carroll, Grace Brinkman, Barbara (John) Lavelle, and Rosie (Hector) Roque.

Ingrid was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Nicholas, in 1993. Her spirit lives on through the cherished moments she shared with her grandchildren: Juliet and Harry Carroll, Nikki Lavelle, Nicholas and Chloe Roque, and her great-grandchildren, Boston, Avery, and Claire.

A woman of remarkable generosity, Ingrid's boundless love for her family was evident in every aspect of her life. She possessed a remarkable talent for crocheting, creating exquisite afghans and baby blankets for expecting friends of her children, wrapping them in comfort and care. Her zest for life was evident in her passion for travel, often exploring new horizons with friends and family, as well as in her love for gardening and the beauty of flowers that brightened her surroundings.

Ingrid's warmth and kindness transcended the confines of her family, touching the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed, her light shining brightly in the memories of those she leaves behind.

A celebration of Ingrid's extraordinary life will take place on March 24, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Serenity Funeral Home, located at 1450 S State Road 7, North Lauderdale, Florida.

Her love and light will forever remain in our hearts, a testament to the beautiful life she led.
