JC Hooper

J .C. Hooper, 85, of Ft. Lauderdale, FL., formerly of Paducah, KY., passed away at home with his loving family at his side on Friday May 13, 2016.

His sweet smile and delightful humor will be sadly missed by all who knew him. He was the former owner/operator of J. C. Hooper Excavating of Paducah.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Pat Rives Hooper and a daughter, Rhonda Hooper, of Ft. Lauderdale FL., a daughter, Janice R. Nusekabel, and a son, Jimmie C. Hooper, of Austell, GA., a sister, Morris Ann (Marcie) McBride Hurley, of Venice, FL., and nieces Sherry Hurley and Brandy Hurley Stein.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie A. Terrell McBride, his stepfather, Morris W. McBride, and a brother, Johnie Michael McBride.
