Jenny Berrena

Jenny Berrena, 26, passed away Wednesday, October 4th, 2017. She experienced the full spectrum of humanity with such profound empathy and kindness. She was a selfless and nurturing mother, a loyal sister and beloved daughter. She was motivated by enriching the lives of others, a constant presence and support. Her resilience carried her through so many of life's challenges, she approached each with grit, grace and without complaint. Jenny's dearest love was her daughter, Nicole.

She devoted her life to raising Nicole with an unconditional love: patience, affection, fondness, serenity, loyalty, gratitude. She raised her with compassion and instilled in her  empathy and independence.

Jenny's most beloved friend was her mother, whom was her supporter and best friend. She had this endearing look in her eyes when she glanced at her mom, transcending and boundless love.

Jenny had a close relationship with her father and she sought out his guidance and support and she navigated through life. His companion Valerie was also a loving friend to Jenny. Jenny's greatest confidants in this world were her two sisters, they grew up with such immense respect and unconditional love for each other. There was frequent laughter, hugs and intimate conversations.

She had an intimate and loving friendship with Danny Giraldo, her daughter's father. They both shared years of beautiful life experiences.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Giraldo, her parents, Sabina S. and Paul J. Berrena, her sisters Schatzi and Gina Berrena, and her grandmother, Emily Berrena.
