Joe Monteagudo born on August 7, 1937 in Key West Florida, he passed away in Hollywood, Florida on June 25, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his brother Andrew Monteagudo, his sister Elsie Buckley, loving father to sons Mark and Michael, daughters Tracie and Karen. Grandfather to six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Miami Tech. High School and raised his family in Hialeah, Florida. He loved all Miami sports and played for many years with the Saint Sophia softball team, as well as many other teams. He also played for the Miami Barricuda's football team and for the amateur league: Brooklyn Dodgers, that consisted of high school athletes. The uniforms were donated by The Brooklyn Dodgers. He grew up and played with a few of his friends that went on to be professional ball players.
He loved spending time with his kids and grand kids whenever he could. He was a proud man and will be truly missed and always remembered.
The family will be conducting a private memorial service. Joe will live on in our hearts forever.
