Palmerino, Joseph Alexander, 86, of Ft Lauderdale, FL died Thursday, August 1, 2013 at his daughter Rose's home under the care of Hospice. He was born in Boston, MA on June 21, 1927, the son of the late Joseph & Mary Palmerino. He graduated from Malden High School (Malden MA) in 1946 and honorably served in the US Navy. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed his retirement after many years as a precision grinder on aerospace products. He was predeceased by his wife Grace (Mucci) of 53 years and his son Robert Palmerino, daughter Deborah Munro, and grandsons Adam Munro and Jonathan LeBlanc. Members of his surviving family include his son Joseph Palmer in Defuniak Springs, FL and his two daughters Marie LeBlanc in Franklin, NH and Rose Turnquist in Micco, FL, plus his 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be handled by Serenity Funeral Home and the funeral service will take place at the small chapel inside the Queen Of Heaven Cemetery at 1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL on Thursday August 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM.
