Lucien was known for the love for his guitars, his passion for commentary Haitian politics and his love and passion as a master mason. Friends, and colleagues will remember him best as a gentle person whom they thank for his many years of service, humor, and guidance.
From an early age, Lucien had been an active member and leader of his native Arniquoise community. This community stretched across North America from Florida to New York, Massachusetts, and Montreal to unite members toward a vision for community development. Thanks to his involvements we witnessed early expansion in that community in the areas of housing, electrification, and quality of schools and education. Lucien took great pride planning his retirement home in Haiti, a near perfect space that he dedicated this beautiful wife Anne to welcome family and friends.
Lucien Doricent is survived by his wife Anne Marie Dori cent, his two sons Jehu and Neddy, his daughters: Kelly Yesmine Josephine (Martinique). Also affected by his death are his grandchildren Amber Doricent, Neveah Doricent, Lanie Doricent and Jayson Doricent.
He also leaves behind his cousins Toto Doricent, Gogo Doricent, Loulou Doricent, Nanie Doricent, Jeanty Doricent, Sister Simone Doricent, Carmelle Doricent and his nephews and nieces Marie Francoise, Fernande, Armand, Gynette, Yolenne, Pierre and Marcelle Doricent.
