Margaret Coppler, a beloved entrepreneur and vibrant spirit, passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 95. Born on October 20, 1929, in Brooklyn, New York, Margaret lived a life full of passion, resilience, and joy that will be cherished by all who knew her.
As an entrepreneur, she owned several bingo halls, where she not only found success but also created a warm and welcoming community for countless patrons to enjoy. Her brother affectionately referred to her as "Red" because of her hair color. Margaret was a strong-willed woman with a heart of gold. Her generosity extended beyond her business endeavors, as she often donated to charities, embodying the true spirit of kindness.
Margaret's zest for life was reflected in her love for dancing and visiting the casino, where her vibrant energy could light up any room. Her infectious laughter and playful nature made her a joy to be around, leaving lasting impressions in the hearts of friends and family alike.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Monica Armentano and Cathy Bridges, who will carry forward her legacy of strength and love. Margaret is also remembered by her cherished grandchildren, Michele Holmes and Shawn Holmes, Andrea Porter, and Jessica Bretin, and her great-grandchildren, Skyler Holmes and Astrid Bowen, who brought her immense joy and pride.
Margaret was preceded in death by her first husband, Neil Armentano, and her second husband, Chris Coppler. Their memories, along with her loving spirit, will forever remain a part of her family's hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate Margaret's remarkable life will be held on November 22, 2024, at 12:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation in North Lauderdale, Florida. Following the service, she will be interred at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
Margaret Coppler's legacy lives on through her family and the many lives she touched with her gentle heart and unwavering spirit. She will be dearly missed, but the strength of her love will forever resonate in those who had the privilege to know her.
