Maria "Conchita" Echeverri

Maria “Conchita” Echeverri danced her way into Heaven on August 16, 2024 leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness which will be cherished forever. 

Born on December 8, 1947 in Manizales, Colombia, she was one of eight siblings. She came with her husband Leon to Florida in 1972 and resided in Davie. She dedicated her life to being the most loyal and loving wife, the best and most incredible mother, the very best grandmother, the most amazing sister, daughter and all around friend to all who were fortunate enough to know her. 

Throughout her life, Conchita touched the hearts of those around her with her infectious smile, beautiful charisma and unwavering love and compassion. Her nurturing and gentle spirit were a source of comfort to all who knew her and she left an unforgettable mark on the hearts of those around. 

Conchita’s memory will forever be treasured and forever remembered by her surviving family members: her loving husband, Leon “Papy” Echeverri; her daughter Claudia Lear; and her granddaughter’s Mia and Zoe Lear.

The life of Maria “Conchita” Echeverri will be honored and celebrated at the following services:

- Viewing: Thursday, August, 22, 2024, from 1:00PM to 5:00PM at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation, located at 1450 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.

Ceremony will start at 1:30pm.

María “Conchita” Echeverri se fue bailando al cielo el 16 de agosto de 2024, dejando atrás un legado de amor y bondad que será apreciado por siempre. 

 Nacida el 8 de diciembre de 1947 en Manizales, Colombia, era una de ocho hermanos. Llegó con su esposo León a Florida en 1972 y residió en Davie. Dedicó su vida a ser la esposa más leal y amorosa, la mejor y más increíble Madre, la mejor Abuelita,Hermana e Hija y la amiga más increíble de todos los que tuvieron la suerte de conocerla. 

En el transcurso de su vida, Conchita tocó los corazones de quienes la rodeaban con su sonrisacontagiosa, charisma, amor y compasióninquebrantables. Su espíritu cariñoso y gentil fue una fuente de consuelo para todos los que la conocieron,dejando una huella inolvidable en sus corazones. 

La memoria de Conchita siempre será atesorada y recordada por los miembros de su familia que la sobreviven: su amado Esposo León “Papy” Echeverri; su Hija Claudia Lear; y sus Nietas Mia y Zoe Lear.

La vida de María “Conchita” Echeverri será honrada y celebrada en el siguiente servicio:

- Visualización: jueves 22 de agosto de 2024, de 1:00 p. m. a 5:00 p. m. en Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation, ubicada en 1450 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.

La ceremonia se iniciera a la 1:30pm.
