Marie Louise Walters

Marie Louise Walters was born January 20th, 1940 in Belize City, Belize to Mr. Gallop and Minnet Perry. Marie married Eric Graham and had 5 children Clifford, Patricia, Wayne, Paulette, and Jacqueline. Eric and Marie migrated to the United States in 1968, where she raised her children and her granddaughter  Natisha. She remarried Lafort Walters on July 24th, 1982, and was blessed with 2 stepchildren, Barrington and Sophia Walters whom she also took into her family. Marie was a kind-hearted, God-fearing, and nurturing spirit who enjoyed the life she lived.

She leaves behind her husband Lafort, her brothers Austin, Gilbert, and Dennis; her 5 children, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandkids, one great-great-grandchild, and a slew of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Gallop, her mother Minnett, her sisters Yvonne Hyde and Dorla Flowers and her son Wayne.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation in North Lauderdale on November 17th at 12:00 PM during the visitation service. A Mass will follow at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church at 2:00 PM in remembrance of Marie's life. The interment service will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery at 3:00 PM.
