Nick Boccieri 85, was taken Saturday, October 07, 2017 at University Hospital in South Florida.
Nick was born in Baiano in the province of Avellino Italy in 1932. Nick was the oldest son of four. In his early teens’ after World War II’ he apprenticed as a Tool and Die maker. He worked through several countries including Germany, Canada, and the United States.
It was in New York visiting with friends, Nick would be introduced to his wife, Lucy at the age of 32. Love at first site they would marry a year later. His life was his family and church. Nick’s hobbies included tai chi, piano and accordion music, chorus, and travel covering 22 countries.
Nick is survived by his wife of 53 years, along with 2 children; JoAnn McGinnis and Vincent Boccieri as well as his beloved Grandson David and “his second son” son-in-law David, all located in Coconut Creek Florida.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 from 2:00PM-4:00PM and 6:00PM-8:00PM at Serenity Memorial Chapels, located at 5229 Coconut Creek Parkway, Margate, Florida 33063 (754)205-4640
Wake Service will take place during the Visitation at 6:30 PM.
Mass of Christian Burial will be officiated on Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at 10:00AM at St. Vincent Catholic Church, 6350 NW 18th St, Margate, FL 33063.
