Norman Hoerst

Norman Henry Hoerst passed away on September 19, 2018.

Norman was born in Sommerville, New Jersey and lived for a time in Langhorn, PA., moving to South Florida in 1973.

Norman proudly honored his country by serving in the Military, with an Honorable Discharge. After his discharge, Norman was a Butcher by trade, retiring from Publix Supermarkets in 2007.

Norman enjoyed traveling with his family. In addition, He was an electronics enthusiast, repairing and "tinkering" televisions and radios.

He will be remembered for his sense humor and complete and total love and devotion for his older sister, Charlotte, whom he lived with and looked after for many years.

Norman is the son of Henry and Anna Hoerst, both of whom are deceased. He is the brother of Leonard Hoerst (deceased) and Charlotte Hoerst (deceased).

A Celebration of Norman's life will be held at 11:00 A.M. on September 28, 2018, at Serenity Funeral Home & Cremation, 1450 S. State Road 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, followed by a 12:30 burial service to be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, 200 W. Copans Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064.
