Peter D. DeFeo
March 1, 1936 — April 3, 2019
Peter D. DeFeo passed away at Kindred Hospital in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida on April 3rd, 2019 at the age of 83.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 60 years. Antoinette Pelosi DeFeo. Peter is also remembered lovingly by his daughter Diana DeFeo and son Peter DeFeo Jr and his wife Lucia. His grandchildren: Joseph Carnevale, Stephanie Carnevale, Antonia and Jarred Korbet. Elena and Brandon Hilten. His great grandchildren: Sebastian Cervetto, Isabella and Joseph Correa nad Caleb HIlten. Brother Romero DeFeo, many nieces and nephews and friends that loved him dearly.
Peter was born on March 1, 1936 on Mulberry Street in NYC. He graduated from Hackensack High school in New Jersey, went on to earn a bachelors degree at Montclair State in New Jersey. Peter was a self made businessman, owning and operating his salon for over 40 years as well as being a licensed cosmetologist in Wayne, New Jersey.
Peter's hobbies/interests included but were not limited to artistic painting, traveling and social gathering. He loved people and was the life of the party.
Peter volunteered at St. Theresa Roman Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, State Board of Cosmetology and held a seat on the commission in Little Egg Harbor. He was also on the planning and zoning commission in Patterson, New Jersey.
