Randy Brown

Randy Brown passed quietly in his sleep on Tuesday. Randy was extremely well known and loved by everyone. His smile, his laughter and his quick wit made people genuinely love him. Always a story and a joke to tell made Randy who he was...an incredible human being.

After graduating Ligonier Valley High School (Class of 1981), Randy went on to serve his country in the United States Army. After being honorably discharged, Randy went on to work for YUM! Brands for many years until his retirement.

Randy is survived by his Partner of 14 years, Jason Katsoulis of Oakland Park. He is also survived by his mother, Nancy Kerr, of Latrobe, PA; brother: Russ (Sue) of Scottsdale , PA; Jim (Gale), of Ligonier, PA; sisters: Martha Gaydar of Trauger, PA and Myra Brown of Latrobe, PA. Randy is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Carl Brown.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will take place on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM, at United Church of Christ Ft. Lauderdale, located at 2501 NE 3oth Street, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida 33306.

Wake service will take place during the visitation at 8:00 PM, and will be officiated by Reverend Joel Slotnick of United Church of Christ.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory or Randy.

Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
