Richard A. Trudel

Richard (“Rick”) A. Trudel passed away at the age of 71 on March 1, 2021.

The Wake and Funeral services are limited due to Covid. Burial will be at Our Lady Queen of Heaven cemetery.

Richard was born in Brooklyn, NY, to Jean and Rose Trudel and later moved to Long Island, NY and ultimately resided in Parkland, FL. He was an Army Vietnam war veteran and later served in 1989 at the Broward Sheriff’s office for 27 years and retired in 2016. Richard was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend.

Richard is survived in death by his childhood sweetheart and loving wife of 50 years, Lynn; son Richard (Daniela); daughter Dana (Glen); and daughter Tara; 7 beautiful grandchildren, Victoria (Victor), Nicholas, Anthony, Ava, Giada, Francesca, and Andrew; 6 sisters, Denise (Lew), Diane (Bob), Susan (Al), Debbie (George), Christine (Pat) and Carol; brother Jean; and numerous extended family and friends.

Family kindly requests that friends and family may make memorial contributions to Make a Wish of Southern Florida Foundation in memory of Rick Trudel.
