Robert Mistretta, a loving husband and friend, passed away on March 26, 2024. Robert was born in Queens, New York on December 14, 1959. Robert is survived by his loving spouse Debra, pre-deceased father Angelo, loving mother Mildred, dear sister Michelle, sister in laws and brother-in-laws, Theresa and Richard Wittmann, Patricia and James Racanelli, and Nicole and Robert Eprifania. His wonderful spirit will be fondly remembered by his beloved cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and many extended family members-including his loyal canine companions Cashmere and Peanut.
Robert was extremely family-oriented. He cherished spending time with his loved ones and took great pride in his family. His positive and optimistic outlook on life shone brightly in his willingness to help others, his generous nature, and his kind-hearted spirit. A natural storyteller he was, he loved engaging with others and sharing experiences. He had a special nickname for everyone. Moreover, Robert was known for his exceptional listening skills that made everyone around him feel heard and valued.
Robert's passion for all things automotive was evident throughout his life. His career as an auto mechanic was not just a job but a true calling that brought him immense joy and fulfillment. Apart from his dedication to his family, Robert loved cooking. He always made sure the meal was perfect for every occasion.
Robert Mistretta will be fondly remembered for his unwavering love for family, kind-hearted nature, and the lasting impact he had on all who were fortunate enough to know him. May he rest in peace knowing he touched the hearts of many during his time with us.
