Robert Sydney Zelko

Robert S. Zelko, 84, passed away on October 10, 2016 after a three month illness. He was born on January 21, 1932, in Annapolis, Maryland.

He is predeceased by his Mother: Minna (Crystal) Zelko; Father: Hyman Zelko; and Sister: Jacqueline Zelko Morris.

He was a graduate of Severn School, Severna Park, Maryland in 1951. He obtained his LLB from Eastern College of Commerce and Law (now University of Maryland) and was separated from the US Army in 1956, PFC. He practiced criminal defense law in Maryland and DC.

He moved to Vero Beach, Florida in 1981 and later moved to Ft. Lauderdale, and finally Stuart in 1999.

He is survived by loving, devoted sweetheart Bonnie L. Cosby: Daughters: Stephanie Zelko, Juli Kagan (David); Grandson: Zackary Kagan and Son: Joseph Zelko.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, October 16, 2016 from 11:30 AM-1:00 PM, at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation, located at 5229 Coconut Creek Parkway, Margate, Florida 33063. (754)205-4640
