On December 3, 2020 Roger Augusto Gamboa, loving husband and father of 2 passed away peacefully at the age of 84 surrounded by his family.
Roger was born in Panama on February 8, 1936, he was the oldest of two.
He graduated from University of Southwestern at Lafayette as a Sanitary Engineer, his experience and expertise made him work for many important companies and retirement was from the Panamerican Health Organization . Through his work he travelled to many countries and cultivated a lot of friends.
He lived life plenty making people laugh with his stories and always tried to help others. One of his favorite topics of conversation was politics and his celebrated frase was "No te vayas, que esto se esta poniendo bueno".
He was a member of the Lions Club and founded many organizations during his life such as the Sanitary Engineers of Panama and CLISA (Compania Latinoamericana de Ingenieros Sanitarios). He was also professor of Universidad Nacional del Paraguay and Universidad Catolica del Asuncion.
Roger is survived by his wife Haydee, sons Roger and Carlos and 2 grandchildren Sophia and Celine.
