Rosa Nelly Grandez

Rosa Nelly Grandez was born in Lima, Peru on August 2 nd , 1968 to Manuel Grandez & Elva
Yturregui. From an early age, Rosa had a hands-on personality. In high school she prevailed in
volleyball, a sport that she loved to play on her free time with family and friends. In early 1992
she met Alejandro Marinos and after 8 months of going out, the two would get married and
have 3 strong, wonderful children. She held many roles in different avenues of life, but non-

greater than her role as a devoted wife and loving mother.

In 2004, Rosa and her family would move to the United States in search of greater
opportunities. She was never one to back down from a challenge, especially for the growth and
success of her family. Although Rosa missed her homeland, she knew that home was with her

family, wherever their journey took them.

Her favorite things to do included crochet, baking and guiding. She set a foundation for
generations to come. Rosa will always be remembered by her parents, husband, brothers
Manuel Gilbert and Manuel Angel, and her children Fiorella, Luiggi, and Ashley.
Viewing will be at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation on Friday August 12 th , 2022 at 6-8 pm
Family Service will be at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation on Saturday August 13 th , 2022 at

1:00pm, with viewing at 12:00pm.
