Rose Marie Dougherty

Rose M. Dougherty, 95, of Coral Springs, Florida passed away on Thursday, September 7, 2017.

She was born on September 16, 1922 in Cadosia, NY to Joseph and Angela Lombardi. Rose proudly served in the United States Navy during WW II. Rose and her late husband Charles raised their family in Summit, New Jersey. She loved to cook and spent most of her working life in the restaurant business. Rose was the proud proprietor of her own café in Summit, New Jersey. She also was a great seamstress and will be missed by many.

Preceded in death by her husband Charles Dougherty, Sr in 2014. Survived by her two children: Sharon (Steve) Tacovelli and Charles (Sharon) Dougherty Jr., sister: Lucy Buonopane, 3 grandchildren: Matthew (Elena) Fornaro, Carli (Scott) Langevin and Kelli and 2 great grandchildren: Jackson and Annabella
