Sharron was born in Danville Illinois where she resided for 18 years, then moving to Indianapolis, Indiana and subsequently to Miami Beach, Florida where she began her modeling career. She has been featured on many famous national and international magazine covers and publications.
Expanding her career, Sharron moved to New York City and while involving herself in commercial work along with serious modeling for many famous photographers, she met and fell in love with Robert Winston Mercy, also an aspiring model and actor. Together they began a whirlwind romance and traveled the world together in their various but separate careers. Robert still resides in California and now teaches and coaches other aspiring actors and can be found on the Internet under robmercy@com-pair.net.
Sharron will be laid to rest in the Ocean she loved so much, just off the coast of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she can continue her travels around the world, free, and without pain or worry. She will be missed by all the friends she made while in Florida and elsewhere, and those especially at Gateway Terrace where she has resided since May of 2014.
Any information regarding Sharron’s life and adventures in Florida can be inquired about by contacting her dear and close friend, Larry Stevens at 954-525-9920.
Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
