Shelia Morrow, 70
Shelia Morrow, of Freeport Texas, formerly of Chicago Illinois, passed away on December 31, 2014 at Holy Cross Hospital in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Born May 22, 1944, she is preceded in death by her parents, Laverne Ross and Jacob Hughes of Chicago Illinois, and the love her of life Thomas R. Morrow.
Shelia was a delivery supervisor and ended her career as a finance supervisor for the United States Postal Service where she worked for forty years before her retirement. Shelia was a determined woman who knew what she wanted and got exactly what she sought out to achieve in life. Shelia, loved children and spent her entire adult life being a mother, foster parent and a provider for all those that need mentor ship and motherly guidance, even though they were not her own.
After her retirement from the United States Postal Service, Shelia retired to Freeport Texas.
Survivors include her three sons, Terry R. Morrow of Wyncote Pennsylvania, Tyrone R. Morrow of Freeport Texas and Milton Morrow of Naperville Illinois, daughter-in-law Gina Morrow of Muskego Wisconsin, daughter-in-law Taryne Morrow of Freeport Texas, daughter-in-law Jennifer Morrow of Naperville Illinois, grandson Brandon Morrow of Bolingbrook Illinois, granddaughter Rachael K. Thompson of Anchorage Alaska, grandson Alexander R. Morrow of Norfolk Virginia, granddaughter Anya Chris Frances Donesa of Silay City Negros Occidental Philippines, granddaughter Kylie Shaw of Muskego Wisconsin, great grandson Christian A. Thompson of Anchorage Alaska, and her lifelong friend Christine Novak Peters of Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Shelia was an accomplished problem solver who consistently obtained the desired outcomes she wanted. She was a generous, witty, determined and selfless woman who was dedicated to her children. She was passionate about righting the wrongs of the world towards positive solutions. Shelia never met a stranger and was known for her honesty, wittiness, integrity and dedication to public service. A quality she passed along to her three sons.
Per her wishes, Shelia was cremated and a memorial services and celebration of life will be held in Chicago, Illinois at a time and place to be determined. Per her wishes, no flowers are needed, as she this as a waste of money and resources.

The family would like to thank Nurse Wayne Bichler, Dave Kreyscher and the staff from Holy Cross Hospital for the warm, compassionate and loving care they provided our mother during the final hours of her life. The family would also like to thank Funeral Director Keila K. Crucet and staff from Serenity Funeral Services for the warm, compassionate and dignified manner in which the prepared moms remains.
