Thomas Patrick Dolan

Thomas Patrick Dolan, born on November 29, 1952, has left us on January 17, 2025. He was a loving father, grandfather, and brother who worked as a financial trader, born in Brooklyn, NY. He went on to live and work in New York City as well as London, England. He moved back stateside and resided in St. Petersburg, FL, and then in his later years resided in Hollywood, FL.

We are deeply saddened by the loss but find solace in the memories we shared with Thomas. He is survived by his loving sister Dianne Dimond (husband Richard) from Hollywood, FL, his daughter Melissa Applegate (husband Bill) from Ellenton, FL, grandson Gregory Vogel from Slingerlands, NY, and long time friend and mother of his daughter Valerie Blair from Cape Coral, FL.

Also grieving for him are his niece Michelle Nichols (husband Andrew) from Oceanside, CA honoring his memory alongside great nephew Seth Nichols and nephew Dustin Ebaugh (Kirissa Shipp) from Lees Summit, MO. 

Our dear Thomas was predeceased by his parents Robert and Wanda Dolan, his sister Eileen Dolan Brady, his brother Robert F. Dolan Jr., and his granddaughter Laurana Vogel.

The impact of Thomas’s life extended well beyond immediate family as he will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, many cousins, as well as extended family and friends.

The funeral service to honor Thomas Patrick Dolan will take place at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in North Lauderdale, Florida on January 20, 2025, starting at 1:30 PM. Family and friends are invited to join in celebrating his life and legacy during this time of remembrance.

In honor of Thomas’s memory and the values he held dear, the family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research in lieu of flowers.
