December 20, 1938 — June 24, 2019
Vartan Gharakhanian of Coral Springs, Florida went into eternal rest Monday, June 24th 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.
Vartan is survived by his loving wife Diana; daughters, Yvette & Aline; sons, Serge & Arice; brother Vahe; son –in-law Reuben; daughers-in-law Kim & Liliya, and his grandchildren Ryan, Jace, Giana, Sedi, and Mila. All have been on the receiving end of his love and wisdom. Everyone that knew him will forever carry a piece of “Vava” in his or her hearts.
The legacy Vartan leaves behind is one filled with love and surrounded by family. His hard work ethic, humor and his devotion to giving his family the best life will be carried on through his children, grandchildren and beyond. Vartan was a man of few words, however, the words he did speak will forever comfort us all, in celebrating his life today and keeping him in our memories forever.
A celebration of his life will be held at St Mary Armenian Church in Hollywood, FL, Friday June 28th, beginning at 10:45 AM followed, by his interment service held at Our Queen of Heaven Cemetery in North Lauderdale, FL.
