Walter Pries

Walter Pries, born on May 14, 1936, in Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. He resided in Margate, FL when he went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2025

Walter’s captivating smile was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was one marked by love for his family, hard work, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. His passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives were touched by him.

Walter is survived and missed by his loving wife of 58 years, Luci; and his children, Sharyn, Debbie and Keila. He will be forever cherished and remembered by his 13 grandchildren; Brandon, Jeffrey, Rebekah, Sarah, Hannah, Rachel, Isabella, Tyler, Jaydon, Preston, Charlotte, Vivienne and Lucy.

The memorial service to honor Walter will be held on Sunday January 26, 2025 at New Hope Brazilian Baptist Church at 2pm
