Obituary for William Bennington Chamberlain

William Bennington Chamberlain, 85, of West Palm Beach, Florida died on September 19, 2017 in West Palm Beach, Florida.

He was born on August 4, 1932 in Neptune, New Jersey to Clawson Bennington Chamberlain & Chiquita Marion Camp Chamberlain.  He married Sally Jane Cobb on September 26, 1959.  Bill & Sally were married for 57 years.

Bill graduated from Manasquan High School in 1950.  Bill then went into the Navy where he served for four (4) years.  He then married Sally Jane Cobb on September 26, 1959.  Bill & Sally were married for 57 years.

Bill is survived by his two children, his son William “Bill” Chamberlain of West Palm Beach, Florida;  his daughter Lori Chamberlain Moss (Ken) of Crestwood Kentucky,  daughter-in-law, Shelly Chamberlain of West Palm Beach, Florida.  He is also survived by five grandchildren, Austin Moss, Brandon Moss, Michael Chamberlain, Katherine Chamberlain Moss & Daniel Chamberlain; Sister-in-laws, Brother-in-laws, nieces and nephews and the rest of his family and friends.  Special Friends - Denise Osie, Victoria & Jacquelyn Amaya.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Clawson & Chiquita Chamberlain, his sister Kathryn Chamberlain Wolf (Vincent), and sister Gwendolyn Chamberlain Patterson (Charlie).

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 1:00 PM-3:00 PM and 5:00 PM-8:00 PM at Serenity Memorial Chapel, 5229 Coconut Creek Parkway, Margate, Florida.  A funeral service will be held the following day on Monday, Octo ber 2, 2017 at 12:45 PM. at South Florida VA National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, Florida.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Veteran’s Administration, Humane Society or the charity of your choice.
